Squires fish restaurant is located in the village of Braunton, in sunny Devon. This stylish restaurant seats 130 comfortably over two floors, as well as offering a take-away service for those who can't wait to sit down. Over the last 40 years it has built up a reputation of serving award winning fish and chips as well as offering service that it second to none.
Squires is a family run business that was established in 1969. Squires Fish Restaurant aims to provide high quality service, great food as well as an amazing dining experience.
The owners Mike and Cherry are involved in the day to day running business and will often be seen leading the restaurant or in the kitchen. The Squires team is relatively young but with their high standards they were able to help win the British Seafood Industry's Fish and Chip shop of the year and Twice Winners of South West & Wales.

I found their fish and chips great with a very light batter covering a thick fillet of very fresh fish and the chips were thick and floury on the inside and beautifully crisp on the outside.
